Not Ready For Football | July 30, 2011

Teams were waiving  like kids on a bus to summer camp this week but why the new labor agreement gives owners advantage hurting small market teams looking to get  big names at basement pricesincreasing there talent pool .  The market dried up quickly with sign and trade deals with in days while a few players are doing the contract  two-step for better deals the wait is what will sell football this year,  a short training camp along with a                        pre season allowing  less time for evaluations and team chemistry. NFPLA could have held for a better deal college football would have generated millions with this lock out looming which would have cornered the owners and forced my security for current and future players.  James Harrison lead a solo effort for a stand-off  but as a lone wolf stood alone,  a class action lawsuit filed by selected players  sent a sweep of divisions quickly.  This bargaining agreement lacked unity owners needed players fans needed football which owners can’t play in this equation the  NFPLA had an advantage and  blew it .
